Three monarchs today at our home just outside of the park; 1 male & 1 female nectaring on cone flowers & a male patrolling. Visited Point Pelee National Park this morning and in 5 minutes observed 3 monarchs at the Tip 10:45am. Lost sight of one on the east side while 2 others headed south out over the lake starting at about 20' up & gaining altitude to 100' as they continued south out of view.
Note- I observe annually around July 1st & later monarchs migrating south at our home & at the Park & going out crossing Lake Erie.
