I found this monarch in the grass near the flower bed. The right side wings are small and deformed. It can not fly so I placed it on the milkweed flower. It started consuming the nectar of the flower. The night that I found it, severe storms came through. When I looked the next morning, I could not find it; I thought it perished. I noticed it in the afternoon on the grass about 20’ from the bed. I put it on the heliotrope were it begin to feed. That was Saturday, today is Monday and it still is in the bed feeding, but the bad wings are a more tattered and torn.
