1 male rubythroat apparently still here. Just saw him 5:30 p.m. 2x come to same JB feeder. An hour of previous rain storm. Heavy rain before sighted. 2 days now of rain welcomed.
I would like to add native plant place visited yesterday has same scorched various gurantica varieties of flowers as we do. Only coral, blue, purple porterweed, and Mexican Honeysuckle can endure heat index so far. In which all are about to bloom. 'Loves and Wishes' deep purple Skyscraper, 'Wendy's wish', 'Blue Swede shoes' doing ok also. Just not blooming yet. Giant purple Gurantica, Aimsted have a few blooms. Hummingbirds don't go to yet. Added a buterfyweed
and a no go either.
