As of today, I have five separate patches of milkweed throughout my residential yard. I have over 20 plants of the annual variety, which I started indoors and moved outside in May 2022. As of today, I have found 4 new sprouts of this variety, that self-seeded from last years crop.

In the five patches of milkweed, I also have 14 of the perennial milkweed that were planted last year and they are spreading, with three new sprouts just emerging circa July 15, 2022.

A neighbour across the road has a patch of perennial milkweed on the outside of his fence, along the sidewalk and there must be a cluster of 30 plants.
