One male on Swamp milkweed in my backyard . Probably one I raised , though . Did see about 7 monarch eggs on my common milkweed a few days ago . No longer seeing any eggs or any caterpillar feeding . Did see one empty egg shell .Also, saw 2 monarchs mating a couple days ago . Seems like the monarchs I release are not sticking around and not seeing caterpillar feeding from the monarchs I release . This is different from other years . Usually I get lots of caterpillars eating on my milkweed after I release monarchs I raised . Because of this difference is why I’m reporting the monarch sighting in my backyard even though it’s one I raised and released . On a side note , I did see a tiger swallowtail today on my cup plant . #MonarchBlitz
