We saw two swallows nesting on our front porch. They have been here for at least five years. We see one nesting pair but they always another pair with them whose nest we have never seen.

We watch this every day and it feels fair to say that the second nest on the porch is 4’ from the first and with great observation it seems this nest was made by the babies from this year.

The greatest number of swallows that we have seen flying together is eight.
