Sightings report image

Date: 07/29/2022

Number: 3

We saw three monarchs today, though two were too quick to get a picture. All three rested on pasture thistle foliage and fanned their wings. One then visited the blossoms of pale purple coneflowers. The other one flew around a lot and briefly touched down on culver's root, cutleaf coneflowers, and boneset, but didn't seem to nectar on anything before flying away
