Monarch Waystation #271 reports the sighting of a juvenile or female ruby throat nectaring from scattered Salvia blooms in the front yard about Noon. Sighting occurred while I was watering potted plants wilting in the heat, and with no camera and hands full there was no chance to get a photo. It was very fast in sampling all the Lady-in-red Salvia blooms present, a little bit skittish of my presence, and only in view about 20 seconds before it flew west and around the corner of the building out of sight.
