one medium sized monarch caterpillar on common milkweed leaf. quite a lot of common milkweed in this un-mowed area in Algonkian Regional Park.

Adult Monarch Butterfly seen flying through this clump of milkweed the day before. some other nectar flowering plants present, too. (unidentified - maybe an early native Liatris)?
