11:05am-12:20pm 26°c, sunny with South wind @ 5/9kmh.
Observed about 12 monarchs in Sparrow Field along road & further within toward east beach. All appeared pristine & were nectaring on pink Bee balm/bergamont.
2 were seen off west path near Tip going SW out over Lake Erie about 20' up & gaining altitude as they flitted out of view.

Goldenrod in Sparrow Field is beginning to bloom..the first I've seen blooming.
