I know it is a terrible picture, but I saw it much closer before it flew to another Asclepias speciosa -- showy milkweed. Yesterday there were 3 dancing with each other, but I don't have a picture. I have suspected monarchs for a week now, but this time I finally saw the markings to confirm, at least today, that there is monarch activity. I will check the milkweeds for eggs or instars later.
