Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 07/25/2022

Number: 1

Discovered large monarch fluttering around my garden milkweed. Later discovered some eggs.
I've only seen this one and a male, although there may have been another. Since, I have discovered approximately 20 larvae, maybe more, but definitely lower numbers than last July 2021.
As per the last newsletter from JorneyNorth, it was colder up north sooner and less monarchs survived to come back south, here in north Texas. I'm believing it based on my monarch number decline this July.
