Just 1 adult male today. It’s been cloudy till about 2:00. Looks different, less worn, than yesterday’s patrolling male.
The Europoean paper wasp is back in force: at least 9 larvae feeding on milkweeds the last 2 days, only 1 2nd Instar left today hiding under a showy leaf! 3 wasps spotted , 2 captured and killed today. 1 was actually a Yellowjacket, but they attack monarchs too.
