Observed 9 caterpillars on my butterfly weed. When watering, I saw the biggest one traveling through the garden and a quick pace. Watched it climb over low sedum,through wood chips, up a mosaic sculpture and finally up into a coneflower. It stretched out under a leaf and froze. It was about 8 p.m. I watched for about 30 more minutes and it didn't move, not even the antenna. Hope to see a J tomorrow!
