all summer...as of today, 8-1-2022, I have only seen 5 adult monarch butterflies. I currently have about 12 caterpillars of various size. Chrysalis - 22. Yesterday, 5 butterflies emerged, with 2 having their wings stuck to their chrysalis. I had to assist them out. They could not get out on their own. Wings crumpled because the fluid was not properly pumped into the wings. I had to destroy them. 2 other butterflies were able to emerge and pump some fluid into the wings, but they too are not straight either. They can fly but not very far...good luck to them.
