Landed on milkweed plants I let grow in yard near cabin. We have many hundreds of milkweed plants on our 180 acres. I do not spray or mow then.

The day was windy, possibly keeping butterfly activity to a minimum. Once or twice a year we may see a hundred in a day as they migrate through.
