Sat by a Federal waterfowl production area (WPA) for 15 minutes. Lots of milkweed growing on the prairie area. WPA is occasionally grazed by bison. also home to prairie chickens. Saw 4 monarch. 3 were trucken by, never slowing down and one visited a flowering milkweed to nector. No larva or feeding activity noted
