9:48 am 24°c mostly sunny with SSW wind @ 14/22kmh.
Across the road from our house at the dike bank observed a slightly faded male just settled on field grass. It just remained there while I watched a few minutes.

Back in our yard the continuing faded female (reported a few days now) still flitting about & laying eggs on Common mw.

11:48 & 11:50 observed a monarch each time quickly arrive from the NE & in directional flight quickly continue SW toward Point Pelee out of view.
