Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/02/2022

Number: 10

We live near an overwintering site in San Leandro California, we bought a couple milkweed plants a few years ago and noticed some Monarch caterpillars on the plants, one thing lead to another and three years later I have a habitat with eggs, caterpillars of all sizes, chrysalis’s and a wonderful supply of Monarch Butterflies all over our yard, some leave some stay, we also have regulars that come see us whenever we’re in the yard (it’s like they’re watch for us to come outside).
What a wonderful gift having butterfly friends :)
