found 29 eggs total. 30 milkweed stalks were surveyed, not all plants had eggs
25 common milkweed stalks surveyed and 12 had eggs totaling 24 eggs found on common milkweed
5 swamp milkweed stalks surveyed and 2 stalks had total of 5 eggs

This small backyard plot was surveyed on July 30th for eggs and none were found.
