The Monarch flew up and landed in a Juniper tree near me. I didn't have a camera, but since it was very close, it was easy to identify. Also, we have a large patch of milkweed that was a little over 100 yards east of where I saw it. Hoping it laid eggs on the milk weed. Will watch for and report any caterpillars. Haven't found any caterpillars yet this year.
