I saw one Monarch on some purple coneflower (Echinacea) across the street. I was away for over two weeks and had not seen any Monarchs this year. That is unusual in our yard, that has both common milk week and butterfly weed. In past 3-4 years I have brought in eggs and raised numerous butterflies outdoors in butterfly cages. This year I have not found any eggs. I am hoping it just means I am looking too early.
