3:00 pm, 1 adult monarch flying around my flower bed. I have mentioned in previous reports my concern that despite having numerous types of native and planted flowers, this year I have been seeing almost no butterflies of any species. I spend at least 3 hours outdoors in my yard and garden almost every day. In the past week or so, I have seen increased bee activity around my flowers. Not sure why the drastic decrease in butterfly activity.
