Released6 healthy monarchs today, after a long delay in finding any eggs at all on my many milkweed. Seems there were hardly any monarch eggs here til late June. Many people in NE Illinois reported the same. Was it because the drought in Texas affected the first or second generation?
Currently I have 17 chrysalids, 12 larvae and perhaps 15 eggs. So glad things picked up.
