Again, I could not get a photo. Monarch adult appeared to be scouting out our 6 raised Hugelkultur beds of native plants; flying fast all around the gardens - never alighting. It was still baby-bird nestling feeding period, which was what I suspected might have been the reason for merely scouting but not visiting - extreme caution against mother birds feeding their young. Maybe? At this date, 8-4, I have yet to see another Monarch - apart from these two sitings I have reported. (At Hulsey Haven Monarch Way Station, & Wildlife Habitat in Greenbrier - upper middle-Tennessee.)
