Had 2 adults which hung around the milkweed for a couple of days - very early this year, none since. It has been very hot and dry in the lower Rio Grande valley. Have @8 acres with milkweed scattered along the fences and dotting the pasture. Planted natives and milkweed in the yard. Have not mowed during the summer the last few years in the hope it will support the butterflies.
