1 male & 1 female seen in my yard. The male was patrolling all day.
The female I first saw when they started the mating dance about 4 pm.
The hummingbirds the male had.been harassing were interested.
The pair moved from the zen o a tree (photo) to the same box elder in which mat8ng monarchs have overnighted for four days running now.
I saw them move later on - he carried her around under the tree canopy a couple of times about 7 pm.
