This is concerning Purple Martin Swallows, which I reported on earlier, July 30, 2022.
The Martins departed our area definitively as of August 1, 2022.
I had confirmed sightings, and heard their unique calls, the day before. Martins have a habit of suddenly departing on their journey south. Godspeed, and hope to see them next year!
