Three separate episodes of ovipositing by at least 2 Monarchs on front and backyard Commn Milkweed.
Thefront yard turned into a show and tell about the butterfly's useage of this common weed species to a human audience. The Ontario Weed Act and the municipal government's overly enthusiastic steps to remove this species from municipal propery was being challenged by this egg laying exhibit and egg count with hand mirrors and magnifiers.
This is wild stock, with no rearing taking place.
