8:56am 23°c cloudy with SW wind @ 9/14kmh 87% humidity. Rain last night & rain in the forecast.
Walking out in our horse pasture a monarch quickly came from the east & flew due west in directional flight, very fast & disappeared.
9:10am at front of house faded monarch slightly tattered breifly settled in sycamore tree then flew off to the west.
7:30pm 26°c Sunny with SW wind @ 6/14kmh. 2 monarchs in backyard came from the NE. One settled on Rose of Sharon Blossom & the other nectared on zinnias. Both fresh looking. One for sure was a male.
Active day-also beautiful Giant & a Tiger Swallowtail.
