Today was hot and muggy for Utah. A very light, as in a few rain drops we’re about to fall, when my husband and I spotted 15 monarchs. I saw 5 from the car. He walked out a bit and saw 10. We were there for 30 minutes. This is the spot we visit regularly where 1 always comes out to greet us. Today he didn’t come as close, but he was there. We also noticed they were flying closer to the ground, in the grasses.
