Milkweed Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 07/30/2022

Number: 1

This is all that is left of our milkweed! To our horror, the real tragedy is the somber realization of where is all our milkweed from last year that had come up year after year after year?

Our perennials are plentiful; our fennel plants, host to the Tiger Swallowtails, are taller than ever in spite of the heat and lack of rain and are laden with caterpillars, but where are our milkweeds?

We have never had to plant them; they have always self-sown. What happened?
