Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/02/2022

Number: 1

Alleluia, our first Monarch sighting in a long time, on this Fifth Day of the Monarch Blitz!

Husband saw the Monarch flitting from Cup Flower to Cup Flower (Silphium Perfoliatum) but it didn’t stay long enough for a photograph, though our garden, which is pictured, is certainly inviting with all its nectar plants!

Cup Flowers are the tall yellow ones!
