8 5 2022, Friday- In Edinburg, Texas, mid morning on a very clear, hot day. I saw 1 Monarch butterfly taking nectar, flying to and from milkweed plants, and also apparently laying eggs. Rested on Tropical Milkweed plants and Firebush. Very frayed wings that looked very similar to yesterday's Monarch butterfly that was in the same area of my backyard.
