On a large grassy lot adjacent to the Marysville Bypass and Highway 10, we observed clusters of common milkweed spread across the lot. We estimated there were 1000-1500 plants. We searched for signs of monarch activity. We found 2 small monarch larvae on the milkweed leaves.
