We have milkweed in our front garden and sighted multiple caterpillars followed by one crystalis which yielded this girl. She only had 4 legs but this didn’t stop her from insisting on settling down on my hand and trying to climb onto Wendell’s nose. After a good rest, she flew off and over the house. We intentionally allow milkweed to grow in the hopes of an annual monarch nursery.
