I saw a female monarch laying eggs on our swamp milkweed. She is only the second monarch I have seen this year. I reported her sighting separately. After her visit, I found about 10 eggs on swamp milkweed and a tropical milkweed I grew as an annual. I did not find any eggs on our plentiful common milkweed. I am hoping she left us many more eggs than what I was able to spot.
