9:45-10:49am at Point Pelee National Park Tip
27°c, real feel 31° 89% humidity, Sunny. Daytime high of 29c, real feel 36c. Sw wind @ 13/18 kmh
August has heated up plenty to make up for cooler than normal July.

On way down to the Tip observed over road & in Sparrow Field about 7 monarchs.
At Tip observed a monarch at about 20' up attempting to go out over Lake Erie on west side
Of Tip. The wind was too strong It descended to sand, puddled, flitted just above sand a few times choosing new place to ouddle. Watched this pristine male continue same for about 15 mins. Left.
Walked north back to tree line. A monarch fluttered south toward Tip & out of view. Continued north up west path & observed another monarch fly west out over the lake about 30' high & out of view (pics in video).

Also observed 8 other species of butterflies.

Woodland Sunflowers & Goldenrod beginning to bloom. Many other flower species in bloom.
