Just hatched (since yesterday at 5 pm anyway). Photo this morning.
From a batch of eggs laid in my yard last Wednesday - see that record.
Of those about 7 eggs I saw (I think I noted 5 on the day), a friend living 2.5 miles south near Liberty Park took four to raise. I gave her the eggs most at risk (on top of leaf, hanging over sidewalk or where dog would brush against them).
I did not mark the location of other eggs so not sure if they have hatched.
There was a cool bit of weather and a storm recently, which I think slowed down the hatching a bit.
