Common milkweed plants

Those plants mostly housed aphids. We only saw two adult monarchs, who both seemed to be exploring rather than going in any particular direction at the time of observation. The weather that day was overcast, hot, humid, and there was very little wind. The area is a small urban farm where we avoid using pesticides or herbicides, and we have two small pollinators gardens nearby the vegetable beds.
