It was challenging to get a photo. In the roughly 20 years that I have raised Monarchs, this is the first time I've had a caterpillar form a chrysalis when it wasn't full size. The chrysalis was small, and so was the butterfly-about 2/3 the size of most. Seemed to be okay.
