Dr Randy McAllister of Topeka, Kansas is a friend of mine and was fly fishing in Horse Butte, Montana this morning. He is a life long lepidopterist who happens to be a friend of mine. He saw two mating monarchs and two others in the wing today while fly fishing near Hebgen Lake. He didn’t get photos but i am absolutely sure this man knows his butterflies - he has created an extraordinary pollinator habitat at his home in Toledo.
