Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/10/2022

Number: 5

We've had a resident male and female all Summer. Now in the past few days we have more Hummingbirds at the feeder and flowers. These are mature birds, meaning that the southern migration has begun. More mature males than females can be seen fighting over the feeder and flower area. Some are skinny and drinking deep at the feeder while others are already chubby, a sure sign of putting on weight to travel further South.
