There are consistently 2 males at the gardens and feeders along with 3 female/juveniles.

You can tell the kids, they power through the garden and rarely stop for a drink. You can hear the wings whislte as they zoom by.

They feed on purple salvia, which is their favorite. They also sip on the blue suede shoes and the dark fuchsia salvia. I do have the hummingbird buffet for them zinnias, lantanas, tithonias, nasturtiums, fuchsia, obedient plant, and (cuphea) firecracker plant. They still prefer the purple salvia.😉
