Small (and young) colony of Asclepias sullivantii, consisting of 3 clones, growing near fence line of Cross Church Tallgrass Prairie. Rare in the area.

Habitat: moist/mesic prairie river bottomland.

Soil: pH 6.8

Soil type: Black Soil Prairie (limestone till/dark sandy loam clay - Suborder: Udoll soil.
