5 separate and mature colonies of Asclepias sullivantii, more than 15 clones per colony, growing along fence line and remnant prairie/cattle pasture. Rare in the area but abundant where found.
Habitat: moist/mesic river bottomland.
Soil: pH 6.8
Soil type: Black Soil Prairie (limestone till/dark sandy loam clay - Suborder: Udoll soil.
