Milkweed has been up & growing since spring ~ yard is loaded ~ it’s been growing wild for 30 years ~ trimmed the plants back in mid-June ~ have grown tall, some are sprouting seed pods, should trim again but there are so many, I’m concerned about cutting back the plants in case there are seeds or instars on the leaves. Sadly, the plants are loaded with these tiny orange bugs that attract flies & hornets/wasps: many of the leaves turn black.
