Hummingbirds: Adults, & Juveniles are drinking heavily now (Hypophagia) They are fattening up for the migration south. Some observations are fighting for territory over salvias, zinnias and flowering vegetable plants like Beans. I have 10 bird feeders up (size shown) except for two discs that get filled up Once a day since beginning of August. This frenzy will continue through first week of September and then dwindle by October.
