Saw male adult flying way out high in nearby oak tree.

8 a.m. hummingbird with white tip tail spreads tail finally going to red Porterweed. Purple Aimstead. Inground compact yellow Hamelia.

Hot heat index 100+ again so they stay up in trees during day. Come down in evening back to flowers.
