3pm, 82 degrees, partly cloudy: watched an adult male monarch (male) flying low (coming from my neighbor’s property to the north). It was hit by a dump truck on its way across the road. I retrieved it from the pavement and placed it one of the orange slices I have placed around the yard. It flew away after a few minutes and landed on cucumber plant. It looks like it has a slightly crumpled right wing tip.
